We believe in honest, upfront service with no surprises. Here’s a plain-English overview of how we work — from estimates to warranties to payment. Have a question about any of it? Just reach out.

Written estimates & authorization

You'll always receive a written estimate before any work is performed. No work begins until you've authorized it — in writing, orally, or electronically. Labor and parts are itemized separately so you can see exactly what you're paying for. (California law requires this, and we're glad to work this way.)

Parts

Every part is clearly identified as new, used, rebuilt, or reconditioned, and all parts are new unless stated otherwise. If any portion of a job needs to be handled by another facility (sublet), we'll disclose that on your estimate up front.

Your replaced parts

You're entitled to the return of your replaced parts on request — just let us know. The only exception is parts that must be sent back to the manufacturer under a warranty claim.

Customer-supplied parts

You're welcome to supply your own parts, and we'll install them at your request. Because we didn't source them, customer-supplied parts are installed at your own risk — we can't be responsible for their defects, compatibility, or failure. Parts and equipment we supply are covered as described on your invoice.

Workmanship & reporting an issue

All services and installations are performed to accepted industry standards. If something doesn't seem right after your service, please tell us within 24 hours of completion so we can review it promptly and make it right. Note that modifying a vehicle's electrical system carries inherent risks, and we aren't responsible for pre-existing conditions, prior or third-party work, or manufacturer defects.

Returns & refunds

Installed products and labor are non-refundable. Unopened items may be eligible for a return or store credit within 7 days, subject to approval and a 15% restocking fee. Any deposit becomes non-refundable once work has begun or parts have been ordered.

Payment

Full payment is due upon completion of the work unless we've agreed otherwise in advance. As allowed under California law, a vehicle may be held until the balance is paid in full.

This page is a summary provided for your convenience. The complete terms and California-required disclosures are presented on the written estimate and invoice you receive at the time of service. Questions? Call us at (916) 770-1596 or email info@oneupmotors.com.
